Because why not? Check out this Kerrang! piece where the 2 discuss the re-recording of Mr. Bungle’s debut EP.

We Care a Lot
Ok, check out this sweet cover of Faith No More’s classic “We Care a Lot.” Normally I would list the contributing artists, but there are just so damn many of them. Totally worth a listen while sorting your Garbage Pail Kids cards. Trust me, I’m old.
When sports meets music
So Matt Spiegel of 670 the Score fame, and Len Kasper, Cub’s announcer are in a band together! Seems pretty crazy, but the music is solid. So check out “I feel Alive” by Sonic45. It reminds me of The Cult, and new wave in general.
Bad Religion
Well well well, Bad Religion released a new track today. In a complete shocker, it’s very Bad Religion. So crank it up, and enjoy the intelligent lyrics and sweet guitar melodies of “What Are We Standing For.”
The View from Halfway Down
It’s finally here, Andy Bell’s new solo album The View from Halfway Down. This will be on heavy rotation. Here’s the Amazon link, and if you don’t like Amazon I know the album is also available on Band Camp. Enjoy nerds!
Pink Phantom!
Finally checked out Pink Phantom from Gorillaz, and glad I did. What a nice, chill, dare I say melancholy tune. Sir Elton John adds a lot, though I could do without the auto tune. Gorillaz have been busy this year, and I certainly recommend checking out all of their recent tracks. No, I’m not doing the work for you.
2020 folks
Welp Eddie Van Halen passed away today. That’s a bummer, 1984 was one of my first forays into “real” music. Ended up having to buy a second copy of that cassette thanks to repeated listens. Time to put on some jams, RIP.
